This album is another sheer rarity in the Fariz RM vast production.

The title means, in other words: Revolution in Indonesia ... exemplified by the Ular = snakes , West indonesia's dominant habitat for the animal, Hiu = sharks, in the mid region, Cendrawasih = Bird of Paradise , in the East of the archipelago.
Revolution inspired by the fall of the new order era of late President's Soeharto, which took place around that time (1993).

A few only may know that the album was recorded on one floor of the Yamaha Building in Jln. Jendral Gatot Subroto in Jakarta, during July 1993. The floor was set as a small acoustic concert room. It only had one Yamaha grand piano as pre-set equipment. It was chosen because the acoustic of the hall was very good for the purpose at hand.

Fariz and his session men at that time, forming the Fariz RM Group - much like now he has the Fariz RM Anthology - brought all the 24-tracks recorders, mixers and analog equipment to transform the floor into an improvised recording studio. Some of the instruments - like the Yamaha synthesizers played in the record - were kindly offered for lending by the Yamaha Music store on the floors below. No song were composed prior to the sessions. It was all an extemporary display of musicianship - much like a sheer Jam Session.

The recording also happened as a set of 'live-takes', with no dubbing or anything alike, which can be heard in the "raw" cut of the album, now coming out - for the very first time in 27 years - as a 1st time ever on Digital.
